California Children's Services (CCS) is a state program for children with certain diseases or health problems. Through this program, children up to 21 years old can get the health care and services they need. CCS will connect you with doctors and trained health care professionals who know how to care for your child with special health care needs. Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is a statewide program that provides information, resources and services to eligible individuals. Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition Program is a federally-funded health and nutrition program for women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or just had a baby, children under 5 years old, families with low to medium income. Regional Centers provide services for individuals with developmental disabilities. If you believe that your child is showing signs of developmental delay or disability visit: https://www.dds.ca.gov/rc/rc-services

Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is designed to help the elderly, blind, and persons with disabilities that have little or no income. It provides cash to meet basic needs for food and shelter. If you are not a U.S. citizen, but you lawfully reside in the United States, you may still qualify. To apply for benefits, you may visit your local SSI office.
